The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is responsible for health and safety regulation in the UK HSE regulate health and safety in nuclear installations and mines, factories, farms, hospitals and schools, offshore gas and oil installations, the safety of the gas grid and the movement of dangerous goods and substances, and many other aspects of the protection both of workers and the public.
The HSE will input and advice on strategies relating to the safety of offshore platform steel jacket installations and specifically their sub-sea inspection and life extension programme
UK offshore oil & gas production facilities are regulated and enforced by the HSE and they have over 30 years of experience in this role
